No. Beavy does not claim ownership of third-party assets or user-submitted content unless ownership is specifically transferred through an agreement.Visual asets may come from licensed sources, creators, or community contributions.

Why does Beavy provide attribution if it is not required?

Although attribution is not required under these licenses, Beavy chooses to acknowledge creators as part of our commitment to transparency, respect, and supporting creative communities.

Does Beavy use AI‑generated images?

Beavy may use AI‑generated images for prototypes, mockups, or internal design exploration. Production imagery may include licensed assets, user-submitted content, brand-created visuals, or other permitted sources unless otherwise stated.

Does Beavy use user‑submitted photos or influencer content?

This page acknowledges the photographers, videographers, designers, creators, and creative communities whose visual contributions help bring warmth, clarity, and authenticity to the Beavy platform.

While attribution is not required under the licenses of the platforms we use, we believe in recognizing the creative work that supports our mission to empower local food creators across Canada.

Image & Video Sources

Beavy uses a combination of licensed, open-licensed, brand-created, and user-submitted visual assets across its platform. Where third-party assets are used, they are used according to the applicable license terms or permissions associated with those assets.

Creator storefront images and product photos submitted by food creators remain owned by the respective creator unless otherwise agreed. By providing media to Beavy, creators grant permission for Beavy to display and promote that content as part of the platform experience.

Some assets may be cropped, color‑adjusted, retouched, or combined with Beavy’s design system to match our visual identity.

Publicly Sourced Directory Images

Some unclaimed listings in the Beavy directory may display placeholder images or generic visuals sourced from open‑licensed platforms such as Unsplash, Pexels, or Pixabay. These images are used only to represent a category or general concept until the business owner claims the listing and provides their own media.

Placeholder images do not depict actual products, kitchens, or creators unless explicitly submitted by the owner.

Iconography & UI Elements

Some icons and interface elements used in Beavy’s design system originate from open‑licensed icon libraries. These assets may be modified to align with Beavy’s brand.

User‑Submitted Media & Consent

Beavy may feature photos, videos, or content submitted by app users, website users, creators, buyers, influencers, or community partners. We only use user‑submitted media when:

The user has provided explicit consent, or
The media was intentionally uploaded for public display (e.g., storefront photos), or
The user has granted permission through Beavy’s submission flows.

Users retain full ownership of their content. You may request removal of your media at any time by contacting admin@beavy.ca.

Creator Appreciation

We extend our appreciation to the photographers, videographers, designers, and creative contributors whose work supports the visual storytelling of Beavy. Their contributions help us create a warm, accessible, and community‑driven experience.

AI‑Generated Media

Beavy may use AI‑generated images or illustrations for prototypes, concept exploration, or internal design workflows. All production imagery is sourced from licensed or open‑licensed creators unless explicitly stated otherwise.

AI‑generated placeholder images may be used for unclaimed listings or early prototypes, but they never represent real sellers, real products, or actual food items unless explicitly stated.

AI‑generated media is never used to impersonate real sellers, misrepresent food products, or create misleading content.

Brand & Platform Context

Beavy is built to support local creators, small‑batch producers, and community‑driven food businesses. Using imagery and video from open creative communities aligns with our values of accessibility, respect, transparency, and shared contribution.

Directory & Listing Ownership

If your business appears as an unclaimed listing and you would like to update, correct, remove, or replace any placeholder images or publicly sourced visuals, please contact us at admin@beavy.ca.

Once a listing is claimed, creators may upload their own photos, which replace any placeholder or publicly sourced images.

Disclaimer

All third‑party images, videos, icons, and creative assets remain the property of their respective creators. Beavy does not claim ownership over external creative works and uses them in accordance with their respective licenses.
