Early‑Access Nature

Beavy is currently in early development, and many parts of the platform are still evolving. Features, design, and availability may change as we build the experience alongside the food creators.

During this phase, Beavy may limit functionality to informational pages, waitlist registration, early‑access programs such as the Founders Circle, and select creator tools. Any interactive features - including storefronts, ordering, messaging, or product listings - may be experimental and subject to change, improvement, or temporary removal as we refine the platform.

Beavy will primarily operate as a mobile application, with a companion website used for informational pages, waitlist registration, account management, and certain creator tools. Features may differ between the app and website. Accessing or signing up through either platform does not guarantee access to all features, nor does it guarantee business success, customer demand, or financial outcomes.

Founders Circle Perks

The Founders Circle is an optional early‑access perks for Canadian food creators. Membership is free and provides benefits such as zero commission, free storefront setup, priority placement at launch, early access to new features, and direct support during onboarding.

Founders Circle benefits apply only to approved members and may differ from features available to the general public. Beavy may update, expand, or discontinue the program, perks, benefits at any time. If the founders circle closes, existing members will retain the benefits that were explicitly granted to them at the time of joining.

Membership in the Founders Circle does not guarantee sales, customer demand, or business outcomes. Participation is voluntary and does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between creators and Beavy.

Beavy reserves the right to approve, decline, or remove members from the program if necessary to maintain platform integrity, safety, or community standards.

Waitlist Registration

By joining the waitlist, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful, and you agree that we may contact you with early‑access invites, product updates, and related announcements. Joining the waitlist does not create a commercial relationship, employment relationship, or formal buyer or seller account.

Joining the waitlist, creating an account, or paying for any future subscription does not guarantee business success, customer acquisition, revenue, or the continued operation of your business. Beavy is not responsible for business failure, lack of sales, or closure of your business for any reason.

Terminology & Interchangeable Words

Throughout these Terms, certain words are used interchangeably for clarity and readability. The following terms have the same meaning within the context of Beavy:

• Buyer, Explorer, Food Explorer - individuals browsing, discovering, or requesting items from creators.
• Seller, Creator, Food Maker, Food Creator - individuals offering food or food‑related items through their Beavy presence.

These terms are descriptive only and do not imply any commercial partnership, employment, agency, or joint venture between Beavy and any user.

Beavy’s Role

Beavy provides a platform that helps buyers discover and connect with independent food creators. Beavy does not:

• Prepare, handle, store, or package food
• Sell or resell food or products on behalf of sellers
• Deliver food or arrange delivery logistics
• Process, hold, or transfer payments between buyers and sellers
• Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of listings
• Act as an agent, broker, or representative for any user

Any relationship, agreement, or transaction is solely between the buyer and the seller. Beavy is not a party to these arrangements.

Beavy does not process returns, refunds, exchanges, or adjustments of any kind. Any return, refund, or adjustment is strictly between the buyer and the seller. Beavy does not offer tipping functionality; any tipping that occurs is strictly between the buyer and the seller outside the platform.

Payments & Fees

Payments, if and when they occur, are handled directly between buyers and sellers using methods chosen by the seller (for example, e‑transfer, cash on pickup, or a seller’s own payment system). Beavy does not process, hold, or transfer funds.

Beavy does not charge buyers a platform fee for browsing, discovering, or requesting items. Beavy does not take a commission from transactions between buyers and sellers.

Because Beavy is not involved in payment processing, we cannot issue refunds, reverse charges, or intervene in payment disputes. Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving payment issues directly.

Acceptable Use

When using our site or early‑access tools, you agree not to:

• Misuse or attempt to interfere with the website or platform
• Attempt unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Upload or share harmful, illegal, or misleading content
• Use Beavy for any unlawful, fraudulent, or prohibited purpose
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

Food Responsibility, Safety & Allergens

All food products listed, described, or promoted by creators on Beavy are the sole responsibility of the individual seller (“Creator”). Beavy does not prepare, handle, store, package, deliver, inspect, or verify any food or food‑related items.

Creators are fully responsible for complying with all applicable food safety, labeling, licensing, and health regulations in their region. Beavy does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any food or information provided by creators.

Sellers are responsible for accurately describing ingredients and potential allergens. Buyers are responsible for communicating directly with sellers about allergies, dietary restrictions, and other health considerations. Beavy does not guarantee allergen‑free or dietary‑specific items.

Because Beavy does not handle food, we are not responsible for any illness, allergic reaction, contamination, or harm resulting from food purchased from or arranged with a seller. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for communicating clearly about ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, and risks.

Community Conduct & Anti‑Discrimination

Beavy is committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive environment for all users. You agree not to engage in harassment, discrimination, or hateful behavior toward any individual or group based on:

• Gender or gender identity
• Sexual orientation
• Race or ethnicity
• Religion
• Disability
• Age: Certain actions that create binding agreements (such as paid subscriptions or vendor contracts) may require a parent or guardian if the user is under the age of majority in their province.
• Any other protected characteristic under applicable law

Beavy reserves the right to restrict access, remove content, or take appropriate action if we believe a user is engaging in harmful, hateful, or discriminatory behavior.

Beavy supports all communities and does not tolerate harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any kind.

Property Damage, Misuse & User Conduct

Users are solely responsible for their actions on and off the platform. Beavy is not liable for:

• Damage to personal or commercial property
• Loss, theft, or destruction of goods
• Conflicts or harm arising from in‑person interactions
• Any damage caused by dissatisfaction with the app, website, or platform

You agree not to harm, threaten, or attempt to damage Beavy’s digital systems, brand, reputation, or physical property. Any such actions may result in account restriction, removal, or legal action.

Prohibited Items & Illegal Substances

Beavy strictly prohibits the listing, promotion, sale, distribution, or exchange of any illegal substances or controlled goods. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Cannabis or cannabis‑infused products
• Alcoholic beverages
• Unregulated supplements, chemicals, or substances prohibited by law
• Any item that violates federal, provincial, or municipal regulations

Beavy does not support, endorse, or facilitate illegal activity of any kind. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any products they describe, promote, or offer comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their region.

Beavy reserves the right to remove content, restrict access, or take appropriate action if we believe a user is engaging in illegal, unsafe, or prohibited activity on the platform.

Disputes, Refunds & No Mediation

Any disputes related to payments, food quality, fulfillment, cancellations, or other aspects of a transaction are strictly between the buyer and the seller. Beavy does not mediate, manage, or resolve disputes and cannot issue refunds or compensation.

We encourage buyers and sellers to use clear communication and, where applicable, payment methods that offer built‑in protections.

Intellectual Property

All branding, content, design elements, and other materials on this site are the exclusive property of Beavy Technologies Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All platform architecture, UI/UX, and code are created and maintained by the founder. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use them without our prior written consent.

AI‑Powered Tools

Beavy may use automated systems or AI‑powered tools to improve platform functionality, detect misuse, or enhance user experience. These systems do not replace human decision‑making for safety or compliance matters.

No Warranty

Beavy is provided on an ‘as‑is’ basis during early access. We make no warranties-express or implied-regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Because the platform is still actively evolving, service availability may fluctuate as development continues. Use of the site and any early‑access features is at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beavy Technologies Inc. and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or platform.

Because Beavy does not sell food, deliver food, or process payments, we are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from interactions or transactions between buyers and sellers.

Beavy is not responsible for any business losses, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost customers, business interruption, reputational harm, or closure of your business. Using Beavy’s tools, app, or website does not guarantee sales, growth, or success.

Use of Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Beavy does not use advertising cookies, cross‑site tracking, profiling technologies, or any form of sensitive data collection. Cookie usage is minimal and limited to essential functionality and privacy‑respecting analytics. Because of this, Beavy does not require a cookie banner under Canadian privacy law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the website or platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
