Your food is your business. Beavy helps more people find it.
No listing paywall · 0% transaction commission
Building a food business takes more than making great products. You need to be discoverable, present your offerings clearly, reach the right customers, and make it easy for people to take the next step.
Beavy brings those pieces together in one platform built specifically for independent FoodMakers across Canada.
Your Beavy profile gives your business a dedicated home on the local food network.
Present your story, products, menu, pricing, service area, availability, photos, and ordering information in one professional destination.
Then share one link everywhere your customers already find you -Instagram, Facebook, Google, business cards, markets, packaging, or your own website.
Independent FoodMakers are often discovered through fragmented channels -social media posts, community groups, word of mouth, market events, and individual websites.
Beavy brings local FoodMakers together into a searchable discovery network.
Customers can explore businesses by location, category, products, and other relevant criteria, creating new opportunities for businesses that may otherwise remain invisible outside their existing audience.
Being discovered is only valuable when customers have a clear next step.
Beavy gives customers a direct path to your business from discovering your profile and exploring your offerings to submitting an order request and connecting with you.
You remain in control of the relationship.
You determine your pricing, availability, payment arrangements, pickup or fulfillment process, and customer communication.
Beavy does not take a percentage of the orders generated through the platform.
When a customer purchases from your business, your revenue remains your revenue.
There is no marketplace percentage deducted from your sale simply because the customer discovered you through Beavy.
We believe local discovery becomes more valuable when customers have more exceptional local businesses to discover.
That's why the core Beavy experience is not placed behind a paywall.
FoodMakers can establish their presence, showcase their business, participate in local discovery, and connect with customers without having to purchase a subscription simply to be visible.
As Beavy develops, we may introduce optional premium capabilities designed for FoodMakers who want more sophisticated tools and functionality.
Beavy is being built to become more than another directory. The long-term vision is a connected digital infrastructure for Canada's independent food economy bringing discovery, business presence, customer connections, ordering, and useful business intelligence closer together.
Not every FoodMaker starts with a storefront, a full website, or a large customer base.
Beavy is designed to support that progression.
As your business develops, your digital presence can develop with it -giving you a foundation for greater visibility, clearer customer communication, and more sophisticated tools over time.
Beavy doesn't replace the business you've built. It gives that business a better digital front door.
Independent FoodMakers contribute something that large-scale platforms cannot easily replicate: variety, creativity, cultural identity, personal connection, and products made for specific communities.
But discovering these businesses can still be unnecessarily difficult.
Beavy is being built to close that gap.
The more FoodMakers participate, the more useful the network becomes for customers. The more customers discover local businesses, the more valuable the platform becomes for FoodMakers.
Beavy's success should not depend on taking a larger percentage of every transaction you make.
It should depend on creating a platform valuable enough that FoodMakers choose to build their digital presence here and customers choose to come here to discover local food.
That's why our model starts with an open foundation:
Just better infrastructure for getting discovered and connecting with the customers who value what you make.
Your customers are already looking for local food. Give them somewhere better to find you.
